Thirty years ago a strange occurrence referred to as a"spacequake" devastated the center of Eurasia, claiming the lives of 150 million people. Since that time, the world plagues within a intermittent basis. Shido Itsuka, a seemingly standard high-schooler comes across a mysterious girl at the bottom zero of a spacequake and learns she is one of the"Spirits" who are the real cause of the spacequakes that occur when they manifest themselves at the entire universe. He is recruited to make use of his ability to seal the Spirits' powers from being a threat to humanity stopping them. There is actually a catch: to seal the power of Spirit, he needs to make her adore him and kiss him.
