Candy Candy

Candy Chocolate is anime collection, manga, and a Japanese book. The most important personality, Candice"Candy" White Ardlay can be a blonde girl with freckles, large emerald green eyes and long, curly hair, worn in pig tails with bows. Candy Candy first emerged at a prose book by famed writer Kyoko Mizuki at April 1975. When Mizuki and manga artist Yumiko Igarashi joined forces, the Western magazine Nakayoshi became interested in Sweet Candy. The show was serialized as a manga series in the journal for four years and won the 1st Kodansha Manga Award for sh?jo at 1977. The story was adapted into an anime series by Toei Animation. Additionally, there are a number of Candy Chocolate films that were never released outside of Japan.
