The Loner

Haunted by memories like a child soldier at 1980s Iran, Behrouz finds himself in bustling, neon-soaked Los Angeles, attempting to become a real estate agent and live a simple life with his girl friend Oksana. But Behrouz's efforts at a regular life become increasingly difficult because his opium addiction and gambling habit back their ugly heads, and he fights to leave behind his past with the Iranian mafia. Soon Oksana and Behrouz find themselves trapped between their Russian and Iranian mobs' feuding heads.
