Pacific Rim
When legions of monsters started rising from the sea, a warfare began that would take millions of lives and also absorb humanity's funds for a long time on end. To combat the giant Kaiju, a particular sort of weapon has been invented: gigantic robots, also called Jaegers, which 2 pilots whose minds are secured at a bridge control simultaneously.
