The Boondocks

The Boondocks is a adult animated sitcom Adult Swim, on Cartoon Network's late night programming block. The show premiered on November 6, 2005 and was made by Aaron McGruder, according to McGruder's comic strip of the identical name. The series begins with an African American family, the Freemans, with transferred into the literary, peaceful and white suburb of Woodcrest. The perspective offered by this mix of cultures, life styles classes, religions, and races provides for much of the comedy and battle in this set. There are a total of 45 episodes over the duration of the shows first three seasons. Both part season two finale"The Hunger Strike" and"The Uncle Ruckus Reality Show" was not aired on American television as Adult Swim feared legal actions against them from BET. Both episodes were aired on Teletoon and were published on DVD at the United States. The summer growing season three episodes"Pause" and"The Story of Jimmy Rebel" have been pulled out of overall incident turning following a television debuts no longer can be found at re runs. A season comprising twenty episodes has been announced to air in January 2014.
