The Cleansing

Place in a tiny isolated village in 14th century Wales, Alice is just a sixteen year old girl who is accused of being a witch and causing the plague that has ravaged the village, taking the lives of many, for example Alice daddy. When it is shown that Alice has been concealing her mother's illness, she's made to see The Cleanser, a menacing figure that was hidden , viciously sending her mother. De facto leader Tom and the town preacher has eyes Alice, and subjects her.
